25 million dollars in capital investment

First, I'd like to thank you all for your understanding. You may have been affected during the difficult period that followed the flooding at our Louiseville plant last August. As of today, you'll be able to notice that the service levels you're used to are back.

What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. We are now looking ahead with confidence and are driven by the desire to maintain the bond of affinity that unites us. We'll remember this event for the cohesion and resilience of our team, and the generosity of the people who helped us get back on our feet.

I am pleased to announce a series of major investments. We confirmed the acquisition of Edge Printing equipment, which will be operational by June 2025. This technique also enables the creation of special editions and help making books stand out in bookstores. Edge Printing offers a wide variety of options (e.g., designs and patterns).

The Edge Printing equipment is just one element in our 2030 Horizon plan, which contains over $25 million in new capital investment to give you access to a more efficient products and services offering.

For the next few years, automation will play an increasingly important role for both rotary presses and book binding. This means that Marquis will be able to bind two books at a time. In addition, automation of end of press and packaging processes will increase the production capacity of some of our equipment by up to 25% at our Louiseville plant.
